N2  - Die Dissertation basiert auf einem Probandengut des assoziierten Projektbereiches (ASSPro) der Study of Health in Pomerania (SHIP0). Okklusale Faktoren waren signifikant mit artikulären Dysfunktionssymptomen assoziiert: Sützzonenverlust mit reziprokem Kiefergelenkknacken; fehlender Seitzahnkontakt oder invertierte Oberkieferfront mit Druckdolenzen des Kiefergelenks. Für Frauen konnte ein erhöhtes Risiko für reziprokes Kiefergelenkknacken und Druckdolenzen des Kiefergelenks ermittelt werden. Ein kausaler Zusammenhang okklusaler Störungen und Anzeichen einer CMD scheint nicht zu bestehen.
N2  - The dissertation based on the associated project (ASSPro) of the study of health in pomerania (SHIP0). Occlusal factors were significant associated with signs and symptoms of temporomandibular disorders: missing of posterior support with reciprocal joint clicking; missing of any contact of posterior teeth or inverted incisives of the maxilla and tenderness on palpation of the joint. Women had a higher risk for reciprocal joint clicking and tenderness on palpation of the joint. There is no causal connection between occlusal interferences and signs and symptoms of TMD.
