N2  - Klinische Untersuchungsparameter zum parodontalen Gesundheitszustand einer Inselpopulation wurden ermittelt und mit Probanden der SHIP-Studie verglichen. Risiken durch Rauchen, Grunderkrankungen und genetische Einflüsse (Polymorphismus der Myeloperoxidase) wurden bewertet. Mit der Übertragung dieser Daten in dentale Nomogramme erfolgte eine alterspezifische Beurteilung des aktuellen parodontalen Erkrankungsstatus. Die Anwendung dentaler Nomogramme für parodontales Screening und für Verlaufskontrollen unter Praxisbedingungen wurde überprüft.
N2  - Clinical examination parameters for the periodontal state of health of an island population were determined and compared with probands of the SHIP-study. Risks through smoking, cause sickness and genetic influence (polymorphisms of the myeloperoxidase) were assessed. With the translation of these facts in dental nomograms look place an age specific evaluation of the actually periodontal status of health. The application of dental nomograms for periodontal screening and for course control under practice conditions was checked.
