N2  - Ärztliche Leistungen werden im Krankenhaus in verschiedenen Abteilungen, wie der Normalstation, Funktionsbereichen, Ambulanzen und administrativen Räumen erbracht. In dieser Untersuchung wurde die Möglichkeit einer Umverteilung ärztlicher Leistungen von einer Normalstation in eine Ambulanz für ein durchschnittliches unfallchirurgisches Patientengut untersucht. Dabei konnte gezeigt werden, dass bis zu 89 % stationärer ärztlicher Leistungen bei nur minimaler Verschiebung von Pflegeaktivitäten in einer Poliklinik erbracht werden können. Die erhobenen Daten spiegeln das Bild unfallchirurgischer Normalversorgung; das Ergebnis dürfte für andere Patientenkollektive aber grundsätzlich gleich sein und begünstigt einen Qualitätsgewinn bei reduzierten Kosten für die Gesamtbehandlung im Krankenhaus.
N2  - Medical performances are rendered in various departments of a hospital, like the normal ward, in outpatients’ departments (OPD’s), as well as in functional and administrative areas. This study is examining the possibility of redistributing medical performances for an average accidental surgical patient population from a normal ward to an OPD. It shows that up to 89 % of the medical performances can be rendered in an outpatients’ clinic (OPC) subsequent to only minimal shifts of medical care. The collected data only reflect the picture of normal medical care in accident surgery; however, the result should be basically the same for other groups of patients and promotes an increase in quality while the costs for the overall hospital treatment are reduced.
