Zum Einfluss ritueller Deformierungen im Kopf-Bereich auf das stomatognathe System am Beispiel von Probanden der afrikanischen Stämme Himba und Surma - eine Modellstudie zur stomatologischen Anatomie

  • Mit dieser Modellstudie wird ein Zusammenhang hergestellt zwischen rituellen Handlungen und Veränderungen am orofazialen System. Hierzu wurde Material zweier afrikanischer Völker (Himba-Namibia und Surma-Äthiopien) untersucht. Es wurde festgestellt, dass exogene Einflüsse in Form dieser Riten einen starken Einfluss auf das Wachstum und die Adaptation des Schädels haben.
  • This examination intend to show the extend of ritual action and the alteration of the orofacial system depending on the ritual cult procederes by african race Himba from Namibia and Surma from Ethiopia. These exogenous influences have large effects on the growth and skull adaptation.
