Verhalten des Renin-Angiotensin-Aldosteron-Systems in Abhängigkeit vom hämödynamischen Reaktionstyp bei Salzbelastung
- keine Angaben
- An inadequate reaction of the RAAS is taken as a possible cause for salt induced hypertension. Recent investigations suggested that sodium-sensitive hypertensive subjects showed a reduced stimulation of RAAS. Methods: In this randomised doubble-blind study we examined the reaction of RAAS under defined sodium diets (restriction; 60 mmol/d and depletion: 260 mmol/d) of 32 sodium-sensitive or resistant normotonic healthy male subjects. Plasma renin activity (PRA) and aldosterone concentration (AC) were detected by radioimmunoassay at the end of every diet. Results: 11 controls showed sodium- sensitive blood pressure reaction, while 21 controls were considered to be sodium-resistant. There was no significant difference found in PRA and AC, as well as there was no difference of stimulation of RAAS detectable in comparison of both groups. Conclusion: Sodium-sensitive normotonic controls showed a regular function of RAAS.
